Patience?
It has been four months already since we decided to go ahead with our new adoption plan. That sounds like not very long, but remember, we had already been waiting two and a half years for our Ethiopian adoption. We haven't received our home study back yet, although it is done. We are just waiting on it to be approved before all of the notarizing takes place. All of this waiting on other people is really testing my patience. So often I email my social worker or adoption agency just to see whats taking so long (I don't actually ask that but I more like pose a nice round-about question). My social worker even responded with a "Patience my dear... ;) " So I "jokingly" asked her, "What is this patience you speak of?" (She's cool enough we can email random things to each other. I suppose that's a blessing in itself). Back to the point, my patience is very thin these days... and when things get super thin, they sometimes get holes. So the more I think about it, I'm pretty sure my patience has holes in it.
